From the city to the countryside, whirl around Kyrgyzstan in the comfort of an SUV, complete with a driver/guide who will answer questions and explain the many sights that lie along the route. See all types of geography, experience true Kyrgyz culture, and bask in the peaceful moments that each day will bring.
Day 1 | Arrival and Ala-Archa
A White Leopard employee will meet you at Manas Airport and transfer you to a hotel in Bishkek. After breakfast and a rest at the hotel, we will go to Ala-Archa National Park. A short drive from Bishkek, Ala-Archa is a beautiful place to rejuvenate from air travel, with beautiful spruce trees, striking mountains, a rushing river, and for those that wish hike, a dazzling 25-30m waterfall.
Day 2 | Сhon-Kemin
Breakfast at the hotel. On our way to Chon-Kemin, we will visit the Burana Tower at Chui Valley, a minaret from the 11th century. It is an important historical tower from the Silk Road period.
After arriving in Chon – Kemin, we will have lunch, then take a horse ride to explore along the valley and into the nearby hills.

The trip to the next oblast, Naryn, will be little longer, but fun because the entire route is a continuous vista of the spectacular landscape and high mountains. Once we get to Tash-Rabat, a well-preserved 15th century stone house which remains a roadside rest stop for travelers, the guide will show you around before a scrumptious dinner of Kyrgyz national food.
Day 4 | Son-Kol
Our next destination is another beautiful, alpine lake. Son-Kol is the second largest lake in Kyrgyzstan, but considerably higher in altitude. At 3016 m, it can seem as though you are climbing right into the sky! It’s a great place to do yoga, meditate, ride horses, take pictures, and play national games. We will sleep in a yurt and enjoy traditional Kyrgyz hospitality.
Day 5 | Kochkor
This day in Kochkor region we will discover the art of the Kyrgyz nation. Learn about the felt-making process and watch various carpets, embroidering and spinning arts in action. You can even test your own creativity in the production of Kyrgyz handicrafts! We also will visit a handicraft museum and a shop, where you can buy different masterpieces – starting from huge felt/silk blankets to small Christmas tree decorations. Dinner and accommodation in guest house.
Day 6 | Issyk-Kul and Bishkek
From Kochkor we will drive to Issyk-Kul, where we can stop for some time to take photos, swim, and savor the view of this immense alpine lake. Driving back to Bishkek, we can stop to get fresh cherries, peaches, and dried fish in Balykchy.
After arriving in Bishkek, we will go on an evening tour to see Oak Park, Ala-Too Square, and Osh Bazaar.
Oak Park is an old park full of oak trees, open air sculpture exhibition, and monuments. It’s a peaceful area to absorb stories and artifacts of Kyrgyz history while walking under the shadow of big oak trees. The enclosed cabins of the ferris wheel at nearby Panfilov Park provide breathtaking views of the city and the surrounding landscape.
Ala-Too Square is surrounded by the main attractions of Bishkek city. You will be able to see the main historical characters of Kyrgyz nation, visit the museum, see the white house, and observe citizens enjoying the expansive space that is regularly decorated by the city.
Lunch and Dinner will be at a national café.
Day 7 | Departure
Transfer to airport and goodbye!
